Increase Alexa Ranking Secret Revealed

Everyone asked me how to increase Alexa’s ranking. The answer is very simple. No dirty tricks.

First Step:

Download and install the Alexa toolbar plugin from Alexa.com

It is only available for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox only. When you search your own site with the toolbar installed, each impression are counted. Therefore, always use the Alexa toolbar plugin. Grab them now.

Second Step:

Grab the Alexa Widget and get them installed on your websites on every single pages you got. For blog, best to put at the sidebar.

Placement for the widget is very important. Put the widget at the spot where everyone will notice it. The more the impression and clicks get by the widget, the higher the rank it goes.
Its like a vote for your websites.

Third Step:
Encourage people to bookmark and share your website to others. Let people digg and stumble your post to bring in traffic to boost up the Alexa rankings.

Fourth Step:
Set your default website as your own website. Do not think this is not gonna work. This method does help a lot.

What to avoid:
Avoid cheating, do not put your widget in an auto-refresh frame. Do not make an infinite loop to surf your own site. You will be penalize for that.

Do we need to upgrade to WordPress 2.5?

WordPress 2.5 is the most current stable releases and was said to be bug free at the moment. Many new features that are implemented in the new wordpress 2.5. It is encouraged to upgrade to this new version to benefits from the new features that developer implemented.

In my point of view, i think we should stay and wait because the new features implemented for wordpress 2.5 are not fully tested by public. Basically it may contain some minor or maybe major bug within it. So i do not think we should upgrade it first due to security issue and more. We should wait and see how other blogger response with the new wordpress 2.5. If it is really stable, then we can consider upgrading.

We may plan for the upgrade but not at the moment. For your information, older themes and plugins may not work perfectly and not 100% compatible with latest Wordpress 2.5.

So do you guys still wanna upgrade or should we wait?
