What is Google Adsense Program?

Basically, Adsense is a PPC Program by the famous Google. Google’s AdSense allows Web site publishers to display contextually relevant advertisements on their website. If a visitor “click” on an advertisement, the Web publisher will earn a percentage of the advertising revenue generated as a result of the click. Alot webmaster make a niche website or blogging to earn revenue using Adsense.

So where do i start from?

General or Niche?

You can build your website around general topics or niche ones. From my expierence, niche websites work better with adsense. First off the ad targeting is much better. Secondly as you have a narrow focus your writing naturally becomes more expert in nature. Hopefully this makes you more authority in your field.

Niche Sites

Target niche sites that have a clear theme, this generate more advertising revenue because it is easier to achieve top search engine rankings.

Targeted Keywords
Use Overture to determine how much advertisers pay per keyword. Search Overture for a keyword and then click on “View Advertisers’ Max Bids” in the top right corner. Overture inventory will list the max price bid for a keyword. It will be difficult to rank well in search engines with a new Web site that is highly optimized for that particular keyword that have the highest payout. Consider targeting keyword which is moderately priced.

Monitor your site
Group your google ads using the channel to monitor it easily. You can know which part of your website need to be optimize in future.
