Magnetic Levitation
Magnetic levitation, maglev, or magnetic suspension is a method by which an object is suspended above another object with no support other than magnetic fields. The electromagnetic force is used to counteract the effects of the gravitational force.
Magnetic levitation transport, or maglev, is a form of transportation that suspends, guides and propels vehicles via electromagnetic force. This method can be faster than wheeled mass transit systems, potentially reaching velocities comparable to turboprop and jet aircraft .
There are two primary types of maglev technology:
Electromagnetic suspension (EMS) uses the attractive magnetic force of a magnet beneath a rail to lift the train up.
Electrodynamic suspension (EDS) uses a repulsive force between two magnetic fields to push the train away from the rail.

Lech Borczuch comments:
Once of my solution for improve turboprop engine it’s use solids magnetic elements which are instaled at the ring of casing and shovels of rotor. In this case the mutual repulsion is driving power and depends from power of magnets and lengths of shovels.More details and provisional drawing you can find on http://logik.bloog.pl websites.
Solid magnetic engines are known and posible to find in exe.patent databases.
Magneto-turboprop vahicles can raising and landing at the spot or run underwater. I’m in progress of improve that solution and hope that model tests will be satisfactory.
