Firefox Hack: Enable Inline URL Auto-completion
Here’s a useful firefox hack to enable inline auto-complete for URLs. With this feature turned on, whatever you type into the location bar is automatically completed by Firefox with the closest possible match that can be determined from the browser’s history. You can hit Enter when you get a match, or keep typing. This is much like the Inline AutoComplete feature in Internet Explorer.
How to turn it on?
Enter “about:config” in the URL search bar
in the firefox config, search for this string
“browser.urlbar.auto-Fill”
Set this option to “true”
