DMOZ NO LONGER IMPORTANT TO SEO

It is not necessary to get listed in DMOZ in order to improve your SERP rankings and PageRank. This is because google algorithm has changed. From my analysis for months, those website which is not listed in DMOZ can even get better rankings in Google for SERPS and page rank.

DMOZ is  just an ordinary web directory. I do believe it doesnt help much in SEO anymore. So you guys who are not listed in DMOZ  please do not upset and try hard to get listed in DMOZ. It is just a waste of your time.

Just continue writing quality and unique content for your website in order to improve your websites rankings in all search engines.
