Sku011.cab - Microsoft Office 2003

I found a solution for this sku001.cab or sku011.cab bug which occur in my office 2003 installation few days back.

Here is the fix/solution for that missing file bug:

Go into Registry Editor (Start, Run, “regedit”). Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Office, 11.0, Delivery. There should be only 1 directory under Delivery, which is your DownloadCode (mine was 90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9). Select that directory. On the right side of the screen, right-click on CDCache. Change the value to 0.

Still cannnot fix it? Try repairing the ‘Registry’ with this tool: Download Registry Mechanic

Didnt work for me, I got a new error. Error 1311 Source file not found: D:\MSOCache\AllUsers\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C(\A2561405.CAB

I have no clue how to fix that one…

Hi friend, did you change the CDCache to 0 ? If it didnt work that way, i guess you have a corrupted registry or installation. Just reinstall MS Office using the original installation disk and if the SKU001 bug still occur, just go back to the following step. Change the CDCache to 0 again and you are fixed.

    Hi,
I’ve had exactly the same experience as Frank and don’t know how to fix the error 1311.
What I have noticed is the file in Delivery on the left side has a name starting 90110409 but the DownloadCode on the right side is 90000409 as stated. Should they both match? If so, should I rename the one on the left? Will this work?
I’m worried about playing around with the registry as I’m a novice with the technical side of computers.

Alright, don’t worry, what you have to do is just edit 1 value on the right hand side window in your windows registry and you are done. Just look for “CDCache” on the right window. Simply change it to 0. You can find this under your DownloadCode directory. Do not rename other things than the CDCache’s value.
