Why do people advertise their blog like a spammer?

The No.1 reason people advertise their blog is because they want to make money! Is this the new trend of blogging?

I thought blogging is just for personal interest or am I wong?

Nowadays, from what i observe, bloggers in these days do have some similiarity with the internet spammers. They just spam around the internet, forum other blogs about their own blog. Is this an ethical way to market their blog?

If your blog have something interesting then people for sure will continue and enjoy reading it. Please use the correct method to advertise your blog. Maybe you can just refer to your close friend and spread it one by one. Otherwise let the search engine do all the work.

Just focus on search engine optimization and writing good post. Therefore people will notice your blog. Try writing something which is useful and unique.

Increase Alexa Ranking Secret Revealed

Everyone asked me how to increase Alexa’s ranking. The answer is very simple. No dirty tricks.

First Step:

Download and install the Alexa toolbar plugin from Alexa.com

It is only available for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox only. When you search your own site with the toolbar installed, each impression are counted. Therefore, always use the Alexa toolbar plugin. Grab them now.

Second Step:

Grab the Alexa Widget and get them installed on your websites on every single pages you got. For blog, best to put at the sidebar.

Placement for the widget is very important. Put the widget at the spot where everyone will notice it. The more the impression and clicks get by the widget, the higher the rank it goes.
Its like a vote for your websites.

Third Step:
Encourage people to bookmark and share your website to others. Let people digg and stumble your post to bring in traffic to boost up the Alexa rankings.

Fourth Step:
Set your default website as your own website. Do not think this is not gonna work. This method does help a lot.

What to avoid:
Avoid cheating, do not put your widget in an auto-refresh frame. Do not make an infinite loop to surf your own site. You will be penalize for that.
